Anno 1800 is an economic strategy city-building simulation game. This is the seventh part of the franchise of the same name from the developer Ubisoft Blue Byte, the German division of the Ubisoft corporation. Plot

Despite the fact that Anno 1800 is an economic strategy, it has its own plot with an interesting plot. The player, as the protagonist, is given a young man, rich and carefree, who rests with a friend on tropical islands. Life goes on happily and relaxed until the hero receives a letter. It turns out that his own sister is writing to him from the Old World itself. In the letter, she tells that their own father was declared a traitor to the Crown and imprisoned. It was not possible to appeal this decision - the old man died behind bars. And now the family business has passed to their uncle, who knows nothing about business. Moreover, he accumulated a lot of debts, which have now also become a family problem.

However, my sister managed to buy a small island with her last savings. All those who do not want to cooperate with the greedy uncle, as well as herself, are going to flee there. And now the brother needs to be reunited with his family to put things in order.

Gameplay

The events of Anno 1800 take place in the 19th century and cover the beginning of the industrialization of the world. Great technical and scientific discoveries are being made around. Diplomacy is also actively developing, international alliances are being established.

The game demonstrates just the vast expanses of urbanism. The cities are big, some are even huge, and they are constantly expanding. To competently manage such giants, you have to build competent planning from the very beginning. Poorly developed central historical district - and everything around begins to break down and lose its meaning.

And besides the city, you have to take care of foreign policy! Wars, alliances, scientific and trade proposals are coming in all the time. You also need to take the initiative yourself, so as not to lose your position on the world stage.

The game has several different modes. The main one is a campaign with four chapters. During this time, the player will have to live the life of a protagonist in a strict plot framework. The alternative is free mode. This option allows you to develop at any time, completely customize the gameplay and map generation.

You can also test your strength in multiplayer. In this mode, you will have to share the region with other players, fighting for resources and a place in the sun, forging new alliances and unleashing wars.

At the start, the player has nothing at all - a warehouse, a few huts, a fishing station and a market. And all this has to be developed to a powerful and rich colony. It is necessary to constantly monitor external demands, the needs of residents and the state of the environment. You also need to remember about the constant expansion of your settlement: new houses, factories, fields and municipal buildings are constantly required.

Anno 1800 has a lot of interesting features that help to make the gameplay more varied:
