Visual

The graphics of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered are great. The developers not only improved the quality of the previous picture, they reworked and supplemented it. For example, equipment and weapons now look much more realistic, they are worked out in detail. The backdrops were also lucky: instead of huge empty hangars, planned, complex rooms appeared.

The situation with color rendition, light and shadow has significantly improved. Now the picture looks realistic, and the opponents do not look like plastic soldiers.

To the delight of fans of the series, the music from the original was transferred to the game, updating and supplementing it. This makes the game sound great for both new users and Call of Duty fans.

Well done animations, especially those related to combat interactions. Now the shooting actually looks like real, and the visual display of various destruction makes the passage as atmospheric as possible.

Gameplay

The gameplay in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered hasn't changed a bit. It's simple, intuitive, and therefore good. However, no one began to remove the shortcomings of 2007. Everyone calls the main disadvantage of the franchise its corridor and scripted nature.

The most striking example: the methodology for passing most of the missions. The player cannot just kill all the enemies, because they appear from the spawn point without stopping. All you need to do is run to the scripted zone to move on to the next scene.

However, if you do not dwell on this detail and just play for your own pleasure, the gameplay is very pleasant. The developers paid great attention to the physics and ballistics of shooting. Operatives work harmoniously on the battlefield. You can kill enemies beautifully, looking for the moment for the perfect shot - and at this moment the true colors of the game are revealed.

Fractions

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has several factions available to play. They either completely copy existing military units, or act as a reference to those.

The first faction available is the SAS, or Special Airborne Service (British Army). The second real force is the CIA. This list is completed by the RF Armed Forces under the command of General Barkov.

There are only two units transformed by the developers: Al-Katala and the Urzikstan militia. Al-Qatala is a collective image of Al-Qaeda and ISIS. The Urzikstan militia combined the features of the free Syrian army and the people's self-defense units of the Kurdish Council.
