Dota 2

Dota 2 is a classic MOBA, or team game for online battles. Initially, the first part of this project started only as a modification card for Warcraft, but after that it grew into a full-fledged independent brand. Developed by Valve. The game is completely free, but has a built-in microtransaction system for purchasing game currency and cosmetic improvements.

Graphic design

Dota 2 does not have a deep storyline or character backstories. The gameplay focuses primarily on gameplay and visuals. The picture is made in muted colors, with contrasting bright elements. The visual component of the project is constantly being updated, and this is both a plus and a minus of the game. On the one hand, users do not have to wait for global updates, champions and their abilities change their appearance in turn. On the other hand, when beautiful, new characters and old ones that have not been reworked are running on the same map, it does not look quite natural.

The developers did a good job on the game menu. The mini-map, data about the character, his characteristics and abilities, as well as information about the team - everything is at hand. The working panel during the battle takes up almost half of the screen, but it is thanks to this that during the battle the player is able to control all processes at once.

Gameplay

Dota 2 is a team game. Each card clashes two groups of opponents who fight to the last survivor, or until they lose all the structures they need to defend. The player is given control over one hero - the champion. Who to play, the user must choose in advance, and there is no randomness. The composition of the team can be selected randomly, taking into account the level of the hero and the rank of the player, and the squad can also be assembled manually (play with friends).

Battles bring gold. In-game currency can be obtained for protecting buildings (a small amount if you are near it), killing mobs or opponents, as well as for a team victory on the map. The player's level directly depends on the level of his champions and on the number of victories. The more heroes he has pumped, and the more often they win, the faster he can rise to the top of the rating.

The game has an internal store that sells cosmetic items for heroes and other little things. There are a limited number of in-game items that can give the user an edge on the map and are sold for real money. But even they do not imbalance the battles, because they add only minimal improvements.

Dota 2 Heroes

In Dota 2, more attention is paid to playable characters: their design and leveling. The appearance of the heroes is imposing and epic. The general style is inspired by the world of Warcraft, but it does not parody it so clearly. The images of the champions are bright and memorable, each exit and battles are accompanied by their own unique sound effects. Other features worth noting are the following:

There are over 100 original heroes in the game. The developers are constantly adding new characters, so you won't be bored.

Heroes have only three classes: agile, strong, and magically gifted. Their division by specific skills depends on the choice of the player. This allows for more variable builds.

Experience is accumulated for killing mobs, enemy players, and destroying buildings. Game points will be awarded not only to the one who struck the last blow, but also to all nearby users. This helps you avoid chasing frags and pay more attention to the gameplay.

Dota 2 is considered to be the ancestor of the classic online action RPG. And this project has something to surprise its players:

• Unlike many other popular MOBAs, Dota 2 has a developed system of items and artifacts. At their expense, you can strengthen the heroes, thereby gaining serious advantages on the map. The higher the level of the character, the more unique artifacts he can carry with him. Unique items are created from items that drop during battles.
• Developers encourage players not only for the gameplay itself, but also for activities “around” the project. Writing guides, strategies, searching for vulnerabilities will not go unnoticed by the creators of the project. For this activity, you can receive in-game rewards and achievements.
• To gain experience or just have a good time in Dota, you can watch other games. This is a special mode in which the viewer sees the entire map at once, can study the strategies of other users.
• There are no unique items for the play store. Every position that is offered for purchase for real money can be found in the game without spending a penny on it.

Dota 2 will not leave anyone indifferent. Even several hours in a row will not be enough to fully appreciate all the strengths of the game. And the graphic support and the tasks set will attract gamers and make them strive for new results.
