South Park: Phone Destroyer
South Park is restless again. And the fault is - who would have thought? - bored kids who just decided to play the American version of "Cossacks-robbers", cowboys and Indians.
Gradually, the whole city, inhabited, as usual, with very original and unusual characters, gets involved in the "cowboys and Indians". And the player needs to gather in his group such inhabitants of South Park, with whom he can definitely defeat these kids!
Sexy nun Randy or Song Butters?
South Park: Phone Destroyer is a mobile, collectible card game with real-time combat. Therefore, the gameplay is gently divided into two phases. First, you collect a more or less effective deck of character cards, and then you fight with the same “collectors” or complete story missions, which also boil down to wall-to-wall battles.
The game features several dozen characters, which are divided into eleven groups. Some can be used to build a full-fledged deck, others will not work, since there are clearly not enough cards. Some of the largest groups are:
- Adults. Actually, the group includes all the "adult" characters of the original cartoon. Including - and quite rare, as well as fictional. For example, in the group "Adults" are Santa Claus, Mr. Hankey and Chelmedvedog;
- Animals. A relatively small group of about half a dozen cards. It includes Chelmedvedosvin, Four-Ass Monkey (the game is still based on the cartoon "South Park", so you shouldn't be surprised at such ... peculiar characters) and others;
- Sacred. A large group whose characters are somehow related to religion. It includes, for example, the sexy nun Randy and the songwriter Butters;
- The Wicked. Directly opposite sacred group. It includes Satan, our old friend Chelmedvedosin, the witch Harrison and many others.
There are two separate groups for the central characters of the animated series - "Cowboys" and "Indians". After all, it is with this game that the plot of South Park: Phone Destroyer starts. The Cowboys group includes Kyle, Cartman, and about half a dozen other characters. Stan and Kenny ended up on the opposite team of the Indians.
It should be noted that the developers are constantly adding to the number of cards, decks and factions presented. And the characters can wander from one to another. For example, cards in blue are nicely grouped together in the Adventurers group, and orange in SF Characters.
How to Build a Deck in South Park: Phone Destroyer
As with any collectible card game, in South Park: Phone Destroyer, getting your deck right is key. Characters can additionally strengthen each other - or, conversely, have a "negative" effect if heroes from radically different factions are in the same party.
The ideal solution is to build decks with characters from the same group. South Park: Phone Destroyer does not require all cards in a player's inventory to be used at the same time. Therefore, you can choose a number of the most powerful or practical, and fight using exclusively them.
There are two ways to replenish the assortment of cards in your inventory. The first is just getting them as you progress through the game. As a rule, they are issued after victories in PvE and some PvP battles. The second is to buy them from the in-game store.
South Park: Phone Destroyer is distributed free-to-play. And like all other free games, it can get very expensive. Putting together a really cool, complete and unbeatable deck takes some investment. Of course, you don't have to buy character cards. But then the game will stop much more difficult.
South Park: Phone Destroyer Events
Periodically, South Park: Phone Destroyer hosts global events - large-scale events in the in-game world that affect all users. During the passage of such "situations" you can get special cards, unusual rewards and other content that you can brag to your friends (or enemies).
For example, on June 19, 2020, the "Professor Chaos" event was launched. In it, the characters began to parody various superheroes - which means that the number of cards has increased many times over. At the same time, the rules are quite simple - you need to participate in PvP matches using mainly certain characters.
Events in South Park: Phone Destroyer usually only last a few days. Therefore, you need to get all the possible bonuses as quickly as possible. Or at least "lean against them" and grab a couple.
Also, sometimes "Challenges" are activated - short, but rather complex events without a plot.
