The problem is that these bells are scattered in different places, but there is no map. And no one gave a compass, either, the developers were not generous with journals or diaries with quests. The Japanese tied the game process to exploring the world, you need to look for keys and destroy bosses.

But there is also a huge trap. The game has a very high level of difficulty initially, the hero must constantly die, and the player must learn from his mistakes. For example, the very first boss that the hero encounters is simply impossible to destroy. The only option is to get away with your feet, while scanning the terrain, whether a weaker, but no less dangerous enemy is waiting around the corner. But then you still have to return to the demon, otherwise you won't get to a new level.

Hero's Enemies and Opportunities

There are a lot of sworn enemies in the game: from the classic undead and crystal giants to plague rats, skeletons and basilisk frogs. This is not counting the arrogant skeletons. Enemies are piling up just in a crowd, and the hero can cope with one person, maximum two.

After reading this, I immediately want to spit and quit the game: what's the point? But the meaning is just there. Learn to die in order to win later. The hero has access to magic, although the number of uses is limited, plus 30 magic arrows, the supply can be replenished, but only at control points, so you will have to save hard.

Simply put, the hero needs to actively dodge and wait for the enemy to open up for a short time, and then strike. By the way, you cannot save in the game at will, only at checkpoints, which must also be taken into account. But even such a tough alignment leaves room for opportunities. From the hero, you can create a pyromancer thief or a miracle worker at arms - a wide variety of options are allowed.

Savior Wisps in Dark Souls

Bonfires, which are scattered throughout the locations, help the hero in the difficult path. There you can warm up, save, improve performance at the expense of souls, which are currency and experience points. Also - pour into flasks Estus - a potion of health, renew spells, drink a portion of humanity. Yes, yes, there is also such an unusual resource that is obtained from bosses and dead enemies.

In addition, at a halt, the hero is reborn after another death, and everything would be fine, if not the loss of the souls earned. They just stay where the daredevil was killed. And the enemies who have already been killed are being reborn, so you have to weigh whether it is worth rushing back for these souls or giving up and saving up new ones.

Over time, both resurrected enemies and impudent monsters are pulled up to the light, so it's not always worth lighting a fire so as not to lure evil spirits. However, the developers have pleased the players with such a bonus as "canned" souls, if you come across such a package - consider that you won a million.

Other small and large tricks

In fact, the hero can wander around all locations, there are no prohibitions. But for locked doors you need keys, but they can lie in a completely different place. Nobody gives cards, we rummage at random. We've already talked about crowds of enemies.

Has its own secrets and "humanity", which the hero also needs to consume. As soon as the absorption begins, a copy of the world is immediately opened for other players, but this condition only works when playing online. And here - how lucky. The hero can, both kill and help, show inscriptions on the map, which will tell you where to move on. By the way, you can also leave your own inscription on the passed tests. And if you're very lucky, new allies will also help you cope with the boss.

Locations and graphics

The fairy-tale world does not spoil the beauty of landscapes. Almost constantly on the way there are foggy swamps, lakes, wild forests, sometimes you come across dilapidated towers, flimsy bridges and vents of the underworld, where the plague roamed. In general, full-length hardcore and even higher. But the graphics are cool, dark and stylish, a very atmospheric and unusual world. By the way, small objects that come across on the way are just a props for the beauty of the picture. You won't be able to pick them up, and you won't be able to use them either.
