The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
TES V: Skyrim is perhaps the largest, most varied and most entertaining game in the entire series. A well-thought-out role-playing model, a partially open world, addictive gameplay, an interesting storyline and many memes made her extremely popular. Even a few years after the release, the game remains popular (also due to the fact that it has not yet been ported only to irons, but the day is not far off when Todd Howard will come up to you with the words "Buy Skyrim for a vacuum cleaner"). p>
Well finally you woke up
The plot of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim starts in 201 of the fourth era. The region of Skyrim, after which the game is named, is engulfed in civil war. On the one hand, the Imperials who came from the south. On the other hand, the free inhabitants of the north, the Nords. Among them is the main character. The Nords strike at an object important to the empire, but do not have time to escape. They are now sentenced to be executed at Helgen Fortress.
But they do not have time to die - Alduin, a huge and dangerous dragon, attacks the fortress. As it turns out, fire-breathing lizards are awakening throughout Skyrim. Now there is only one thing left - to find Dovahkiin (or Dragonborn), who, possessing the appropriate magic, will be able to cope with the new threat.
As you might guess, the main character turns out to be the Dragonborn. Now he has to save Skyrim from the invasion of fire-breathing lizards.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Gameplay
"Skyrim" is a role-playing game in which you have to act out the behavior of the "chosen" Dragonborn, called upon to save the world from the ancient and powerful winged lizards. But not only they will interfere with normal life. The province of Skyrim is very lively and populated and offers a large number of side quests.
The main character - after completing the basic quests - can travel all over Skyrim. The open world is vast. There are nine large cities, several dozen small villages, several forests and even wild mountainous terrain. In general, there is where to take a walk. According to the developers, Skyrim can take about 500 hours of time - this is only for completing quests.
As in other role-playing games, here you will need to pump the character and his skills, called "talents". They are presented in a tree-like format, that is, after studying one, others become available - and the third are closed. In total, there are more than 250 skills available for learning in the game, so even with a repeated passage (if there were about 500 more hours of free time), you can play a completely different role.
The combat system is based on the fact that the character has two hands - each one can be equipped with one or another weapon. The range of "dragon fighting tools" itself is quite wide. These are not only various swords, axes and axes - the character can also use a bow. Moreover, the roleplaying in this case is very realistic - it takes quite a long time to "recharge".
You can wield not only swords and bows, but also magic. The spell system is quite varied. In this case, you can combine magic techniques, combining them with each other - and thus enhance their effect or achieve special effects.
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim World
The universe of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is striking in its size and detail. As mentioned above, there are nine large cities, countless villages and vast open spaces.
During the game, you can join one (or several) factions, each of which will issue quests:
- Companions. Mercenaries without a specific code of honor;
- College of Winterhold. Magical fellowship. If you want to learn the most powerful spells in the game, then this is just for them;
- Thieves Guild. The line of work is quite understandable;
- The Dark Brotherhood. A small group of assassins. The next mercenaries, also practically devoid of any code of honor;
- Imperial Legion. Imperial military unit. If you play the game with this unit, the Stormcloak missions will be closed;
- Stormcloaks. A Nord military unit. If you play the game as part of this group, the mission for the Imperial Legion will be closed;
- College of Bards. Just lovers of adventure, searching for all sorts of artifacts and exploring the ruins.
Moreover, this list is not limited to the number of organizations available for joining and passing quests. For example, the Dawnguard expansion brings a new faction of vampires. In this case, you can play both for their opponents, called "Guardians of the Dawn", and directly for these bloodsuckers.
After the main quest, two factions will also be available - Blades and Greybeards. They give a little end-game content, if suddenly the rest of the side quests (which in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim are not just a lot, but very, very many) somehow ended.
