I'm just a run-of-the-mill nerd who has worn many hats over the years, including professional musician, playwright, Apple employee, music teacher, IT support, and now technical solutions architect.

Throughout all of it, I always tried to put in some quality game time. That's been tough over the last few years cause of family and work, just like the rest of us. But one day in May, I saw some gameplay of Elden Ring, and things changed. I was compelled to jump back in, learn how to play, and I quickly became addicted.

I became so enthralled that I started watching YouTube for playthroughs and tips. Then it hit me; that looks like fun! But would it be stupid to start streaming in my late 30's? And I decided that no one fucking cares! I started piecing my rig together thanks to a friend who is familiar with Twitch, streaming, etc., and jumped in.

It's been over a month now and I'm having a blast. Am I a hardcore gamer? Nope. Am I good at Elden Ring? Sometimes. Do people watch? Maybe. But I'm having an absolute blast streaming this game while bullshitting with my friends.
