I'm Doc from QueenOfDiamonds on Twitch. I’m a semi-retired fortune teller. From tarot to poker, I suppose I’ve always liked cards. I switched to poker in 2017 after playing my 1st hand on Zynga. Streaming didn’t come long afterward and I joined Run It Once Poker when it launched in 2019. I am now a Run It Once official Level 1 StreamR. I am a POKER POWHER teacher. POKER POWHER strives to teach women and girls poker for free. We believe that poker teaches risk-assessment, strategic thinking, and confidence! I’m a Women's Poker Association Advocate. A stage IIIC breast cancer survivor, I'm one of those insufferable, vegan, gym rat, marathon runners. Hey, I’m also the Queen of a Coven. Author of over two dozen published books and I regularly continue to work for the world’s largest publisher of Body/Mind/Spirit books. I am a stand up comic for Stand Up for Mental Health, and yes I do have schizophrenia. My PhD in World Domination. I joke that I am a doctor, but not the kind that helps people. No, seriously I do have a doctoral degree in public administration, but that’s way more boring. One time I was kicked out of a biker gang for being just... too much.
Boy, they sure do require a five hundred word essay in order to promote your Twitch content on this website. Let me tell you what I’m all about. In order to compliment my work with POKER POWHER, I’ve decided to take my stream in a direction that is friendly to the beginner. For example, if you type “!beginner” into my chat, my bot will start telling you the basic rules of the game. I can help you learn some basic strategy to help you feel at home around any kitchen table poker game. There aren’t very many poker streamers on Twitch that cater to beginners, but I have nothing to prove, so I’m not afraid of giving out super basic information, even if it makes me seem a little simple.
I love doing charity streams, so if you know of any charity partners that I can work with this year, please do let me know. Don’t be a stranger! At the time of this writing it is 2020 and I’m in an extended second lockdown here in Canada. Twitch has proven to be a wonderful outlet for this extrovert to find some friends. I look forward to letting new friends like you into my life through my stream.
I’m also looking forward to collaborating with other streamers. Even if we don’t stream the same game, we can still link up through voice chat and forge friendships. Keeping each other company might encourage more viewers to join in on the conversation. I’ve just hit the milestone of streaming 1,000 hours total, so I’m just starting to find my voice and my groove. I’m terrible at self-promotion, so I’m hoping to have a more experienced streamer take me under his or her wing.
