I think it is about knowing what you can change about the environment and changing it if you can but what do you do with that unpleasant feeling in your heart about things that are very hard to change or may require too much effort from you?
I have always found it good to change yourself. Change the way you see things, and change the way you feel about things. It will make you feel better. Why continually feel bad about something you can do little about? And if you feel less about it, sometimes it gives you more creativity and calm to do something about it.
